There was snow in Vancouver. Well they called it snow anyway. The kids went out before breakfast to play as I knew the snow would not last long.



I made the new baby a diaper. Too bad it fits Marah. I guess my pattern sizing is a bit off.

Terry cloth outer with orange flannel next to the skin. Its a fitted so it would need a cover. I was going to put snaps on it but it worked great with the snappi.

Thats my HEAT!

At various points through out the day I hear this:
(screaming) "HEATER"
"NO THAT'S MY HEATER"
(Marah also screaming) "HEAT, HEAT"
"GET YOUR OWN HEATER"
"MADELINE TOOK MY HEATER"

One would think I keep the house freezing. Nope the heat is set between 60 and 70. It might help if the kids actually would wear clothes though. Lol.

Belly Update

32 weeks! We are almost there. I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has gone. Michael was born at 37 weeks and 4 days and Marah at 39 weeks. So in as little as 5 weeks we could have a baby. I am not counting on another early labor so as long as the baby comes by April I will be happy. :)

We had a great Christmas this year. We hosted dinner and were joined by Terry, Grandma Karen, Omar, and Great Grandma Evelyn.

Birthdays and baby belly

Madeline's 7th birthday is the 18th!!! I cannot believe how big she is getting. She reads entire books, makes her own sandwiches, sews on a sewing machine, and the other day loaded the dishwasher. Sigh... Where did my baby go?










Her birthday party is on the 15th and she is really excited to decorate cupcakes and have a treasure hunt.

Now to the belly. It is growing. Today I am 27 weeks and 1 day. We are not finding out the sex so this will be our first surprise baby! We are still meeting with our midwife once a month and soon will move to twice a month. Once the holidays are over I can concentrate on getting the house ready for a new baby and getting all the homebirth supplies.
