Car Accident

Joe was in a car accident on Thursday. Someone (who received a DUI) hit Joe in the back and pushed him into a tow truck. So he was squished between two trucks. The car is totaled and thank God Joe is fine. A few scratches, lots of bruises, and he is really sore. He is still finding glass all over him after two showers.

Not so bad in the front.

The steering wheel bent and the driver seat fell backwards. Glass is everywhere.

The trunk is now located convienently in the backseat.

Camping

We went to Lake Wenatchee in July to camp with Brian and Marnie. The kids had a great time together. It was great to see good friends again after such a long time.

Here is Michael and Kat. You can see how bad Michael's eye is in this pic. He was bit by a mosquito on his eyebrow and his whole eye swelled shut.

Joe and Brian.

This was Michael's pirate ship. He found it the first day there and there is a little place to sit at the very top.

All the kids doing something...

But Mom rocks ARE for eating.

Big News

So we found out a few weeks ago and are finally spreading the news. #4 coming in March of 2008. Joe took the news well. I on the other hand was quite shocked and it took a day or two to sink in. LOL.

Photo Shoot with Amy

A few weeks ago we had a photo shoot at a local park with a WONDERFUL photographer named Amy. She did an awesome job and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to do photos. Her info is here at Funky Wonder Photography.

So some of our photos. I had a hard time choosing which ones to post as we had 209 to choose from. So here are thirteen of my favorites.

Fourth of July

We bought fireworks for the 4th. The kids had a lot of fun. I think Daddy had the most fun, he got to play with things that blow up.

Michael did not like the sparklers.

My two kiddos. Marah only woke up once and nursed back to sleep in only a few minutes.

Michael spent most of the night loving it with his ears covered.

The fireworks.

Pain Part Two

On Tuesday Joe went in to get the color done on his tattoo. Total time for the whole tattoo is seven and a half hours. Two hours for the outline and FIVE AND A HALF for the color. He did it all at once! It is still really crusty and bloody and we are really looking forward to seeing it when it has healed.

The Playground, The Zoo, and The Other Daddy

We discovered a playground across the street from gymnastics. Michael decided he wants a new sport so we went to the playground while Maddy had her class.

Look at all that hair.

Mommy, I'm going to go eat bark.

My silly boy.

Its so high! He is going to be the one with broken bones, I just know it.

Hi mommy.

I love this picture, my little punk rocker. He gets compliments all the time.

The other Daddy came to visit. Brian, Joe's other half, was in Beaverton for a training and he came for dinner. Brian is actually married to a wonderful woman named Marnie. They live in Cheney and we miss them.

Marah took to Brian right away. She usually takes several hours to warm up to others and sometimes does not at all. Well she LOVES Brian. I think it is because she heard his voice every day while she was in the womb.

Had to post Michael in the ERGO. He got tired at the zoo. They are looking at spiders.

Michael's favorite.
